Sarah Ryan, WG’05

Sarah Ryan, WG’05, was appointed Group Corporate Development Director by CentralNic in May 2017. CentralNic is an internet platform business that derives revenues from the global sale of domain names.

Prior to her appointment at CentralNic, Sarah was active with Wharton Alumni Relations for EMEA for six years as a contractor/consultant. In her role with Wharton, Sarah was an active fundraiser and staff support for the Wharton Global Forums in Milan and Paris. She was formerly Director of International M&A for LexisNexis and Thomson Financial. In these roles, she led transaction due diligence and structured complex deal terms globally, including deals in the Middle East, Russia, China, India, South Africa, and Europe. Sarah began her career at Merrill Lynch in Mergers and Acquisitions, where she advised companies on strategic alternatives, and in Equity Capital Markets, where she marketed, priced, and allocated IPOs, secondaries, and convertible bond offerings.

Sarah is a member of the Board of Trustees of Junior League of London. She also serves on the UK Advisory Board of Astia and as Finance Link School Governor for Ark Paddington Green Primary School.

Sarah holds an MBA in finance with honors from Wharton and a BA in economics from Duke. She participated in an exchange program with INSEAD in 2005.
